A wise saying
"[The structure of an] organization should be like digestion: you only know it is there when it isn't working properly."

Remodeling
After the wedding, Erin and I want to redo the kitchen in our* condo. But, now I'm thinking that we'll need to install this first. I think my alter-ego requires it.
*Just to clear up any possible confusion - I don't live there yet. I'll be moving most of my stuff over there in a week or so, but I won't be taking up residence there until after the wedding, as is proper and right. We are doing things God's way. But, I still refer to it as "our" condo.

Five things I saw today
Tree things that used to be pretty common, but you don't see that much anymore:
- Someone using a payphone.
- Someone buying a newspaper.
- A boyscout.
Two very strange things that made me laugh:
- A 40-something man, in (we shall say politely) not incredibly good shape, with glasses and a moustache, running down an aisle at the grocery store. What made this funny was that he was wearing a bright yellow t-shirt with the logo for "The Flash."

- I saw a toilet in the dumpster at Erin's townhome complex.

Trashy
Several people have made jokes that Erin will be weeding through my things to through out all of my "bachelor" stuff. These people assume that Erin is normal. In fact, Erin is most spectacular. She said I can keep all of my stuff. How awesome is that! I get to keep everything, that is, except my trash can collection.
Somehow, I have managed to accumulate five trash cans. This is not including the one that accompanies my paper shredder.
My trash cans are of varying sizes and configurations.
One 52 Qt with lid, white
One 28 Qt with lid, white
One white one that fits snuggly within the 28qt. This one does not have a lid
A brown plastic one that would sit nicely next to one's desk.
Another desk trash can. This one is metal mesh.
Now that I think about it, I think I am missing one. I think I had a small white one with a lid as some point. Oh well. It is an acceptable loss.
I think I will be keeping the metal mesh one, and perhaps the brown one as well. (Erin and I will have to negotiate on that one.) I am looking for nice homes for the other three. Any takers?
